Was it a long study? Simplifying it…
what a story
Are muscles and money related? A study conducted by multi-millionaire entrepreneur and developer Peter Level linked CEO fitness to company performance.
Level, known as LivelSio at X, has created an exchange-traded fund (ETF) made up only of companies whose CEOs are involved in weightlifting or combat sports.
This unconventional ETF has outperformed the S&P 500 by 140% over the past four years.
The scale jokingly suggests a link between physical fitness and business success, implying that lifting weights equates to financial gains.

The Deadlift ETF includes 8 major US companies
The Level Dead Left ETF holds eight major U.S. companies, each with a 12.50% allocation in the fund.
These companies are: MetaPlatforms, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Uber Technologies, Microsoft, Apple, BlackRock, and NVIDIA.
Interestingly, the Deadlift ETF has consistently outperformed Alphabet (the parent company of Google), especially in the latter half of the period.
“I believe Google would do better if Sundar Pichai lifted heavy weights, or fought sports,” Level wrote in a post on X.
The level highlights Meta’s performance in recent years
Level Meta and Google were used as examples to illustrate the relationship between intense physical exercise and company performance.
He said Meta, whose CEO Mark Zuckerberg is known for his strict fitness regimen, has significantly outperformed Google in stock price growth over the past year.
“We know what a tough workout Zack and Meta have been. Meta is up 81% over the past 12 months. Google is up just 29% over the same period, barely outperforming the S&P500,” Levels wrote.
Level advocates for strength training
A supported level for strength training as an important part of a fitness regimen. He found running alone insufficient to build overall strength and physique.
The general message of the entrepreneur is that both cardio and strength training are necessary for optimal fitness, but lifting heavy weights is especially important.
“Also no running is heavy exercise, it’s good but not enough. Gotta pick up something heavy and lift it a few times,” Level posted on X.
Level is known for his unique projects and humor
While the Level Dead Left ETF has shown exceptional returns over the past four years, it’s important to note that various factors contribute to the ETF’s performance. This includes market trends, company performance, and overall economic conditions.
Level is known for its unique projects and humor. In July, he launched a website that ranks airlines according to the frequency of lost luggage incidents.
Luggagelosers.com was a revenge project he took on after his girlfriend lost her luggage while traveling from Lisbon to Barcelona.
